AMTS 2026 Workshop Nominations

The Australian Marine Turtle Symposium organising committee is inviting expressions of interest for workshop sessions at the upcoming symposium.
Workshops are an opportunity to bring together researchers, practitioners, Traditional Owners, conservation managers, community groups, students, and other stakeholders to share knowledge, build skills, tackle emerging challenges, and strengthen collaborations across marine turtle conservation and management.

We welcome workshop ideas across a broad range of themes and formats, including:
  • Technical or skills-based workshops
  • Collaborative discussions and working groups
  • Emerging conservation challenges and solutions
  • Research methods, tools, and technologies
  • Community-led initiatives and partnerships
  • Policy, management, education, and engagement
If you have an idea for a workshop session, we encourage you to submit a proposal via the Microsoft Form below. Please also share this opportunity through your networks. We look forward to hearing your ideas and building an engaging and collaborative program together.

Submissions close Wednesday 22 July
