REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR AMTS 2026

Please join marine turtle researchers, practitioners, Traditional Owners, conservation managers, community groups, students, and enthusiasts from across Australia and beyond for three days of sharing knowledge, showcasing new research, tackling conservation challenges, and strengthening collaborations. Whether you’re a long-time turtle enthusiast or new to the field, AMTS 2026 promises an engaging program, valuable networking opportunities, and plenty of discussion about all things marine turtles.
This year, we are also offering online registration and video presentation options for delegates who are unable to attend in person, helping to make the symposium more accessible to the broader marine turtle community.

Abstract submissions

We invite delegates to submit abstracts for presentation at AMTS 2026. Presentations will be offered in an oral format, and we are also accepting video presentations for delegates who are unable to attend in person. Abstracts are limited to 300 words, and each presenter may submit a maximum of one abstract each.

We understand that financial, travel, work, or other constraints may prevent some individuals or groups from attending the symposium in person. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to submit an abstract and select the video presentation option so that your work can still be shared with the marine turtle community.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at Sea World Resort, and delegates can access a discounted accommodation rate using the link below. We encourage delegates to book early to secure their preferred room type and take advantage of the discounted rate.

Please share this announcement with your networks. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Gold Coast for the 7th Australian Marine Turtle Symposium.

Kind regards,
The AMTS Organising Committee
